Michiel Coetzee
Principal — Computer Science & History

Michiel has ensured that the quality of teaching has improved drastically under his leadership, resulting in outstanding international results. He has an insatiable passion for education, especially equipping students with Academic, Social, and Work Skills. A Master Lecturer in Teaching and Study Methods as well as Memory Retention, he believes students should fully understand their work and apply it for long-term success. His AS Level Computer Science students' lowest mark is 87%, with top achievers scoring 90%+. He holds a Bachelor's in Education and is currently pursuing his Honours Degree in Educational Leadership.

Jason Oberholster
English, Travel & Tourism

Jason has experience in training adult teachers for overseas markets and is loved by all. He is a highly competent and dedicated teacher who is emotionally sensitive and intelligent. Fully skilled in invitational and whole-brain teaching, students are intensely engaged in his classes. Jason heads the English division.

Eva Hutton Heyns
Mathematics

Hutton holds a B.Sc. in Human Genetics, Med Hons in Molecular Genetics, and M.Sc. in Biotechnology — three degrees. She teaches Mathematics at an extended level and ensures her work is of the highest standard. Keurbosch students are extremely privileged to have a teacher of her calibre.

She holds an MPhil in Demography, BSc Hons in Population Studies (Cum Laude), and BSc in Biodiversity and Conservation Biology. She heads the science faculty and her mandate is to ensure that this department achieves outstanding international results.

She has over 25 years of experience from Grade 000 upwards and is a registered member of the British Dyslexia Association. She has a gift to assist students with any learning challenges and is in charge of the foundation phase school plays.
